Salem High School, Salem NH Senior Class of 2020 represented by the undersigned hereby requests that the graduation ceremony they deserve should be carried out in 2021 either in conjunction with the 2021 graduating class or a separate ceremony before or after the 2021 ceremony.    

The graduating class of 2020 was required to learn off campus due to the virus and have missed proms and other special celebrations of Senior Year and now must miss their graduation ceremony.  These students are devastated and their parents are heartbroken as they have all worked so hard and waited 12 years for their special walk to get their diploma.

This is not an impossible feat to accomplish given that the field area is available and if the ceremonies were set up even 1 week apart, the set up would be simple and these arrangements are easy to accomplish.

These students of the class of 2020 have waited 12 years for their special ceremonial day and deserve a celebration of their own.
