The petition is to Bring the buses back to our neighborhoods for the safety of our children and the parents. 

This unsafe method of the children  being 0.6 miles from the school with no cross walks, no traffic lights or guards to help them get to school safely.  There are sexual predators in close proximity to the Centerville area.  There are no fences or rails to protect the children along the Centerville road side walk.

BRINGING THE BUSES back means safety.  They will be safely transported to and from school. Parents without vehicles not having to stress over the weather and especially with the kindergarteners needing a pick up person at the school at time of dismissal.  These are working parents with many other stressors that the safety of there children should not be one. This bring the buses back lessons the chance of abduction and or in interactions with  strangers.  This is a necessity for these young innocent children and the resting heart of the parents who cares for each and every one of them.
