Safeguard Our Community: Remove Nuisance and Illegal Activity at 224 Main Street
The Issue
As a concerned resident of our community, I've felt the tendrils of fear and unease creeping amongst us due to the increasing nuisance and illegal activities at 224 Main street, owner and resident named Jessica Gardner. It's come to the point that families live in constant worry, and our children can no longer play safely outside. Health and safety seem to have slipped from reach, as issues such as drug use, domestic abuse, and even child drug trafficking have been reported.
Nicole Atkins, Wayne Lepage and Nick Lepage are also known individuals who frequent this residents. Nicole was recently caught stealing from 802 Market and Deli, a mom and pop shop locally owned. Wayne incriminating himself and others on his personal Facebook page. Wayne and Nick live in the house next door to the 802 Market and Deli. The state police have stated there is no crime in taking naps..

If we hold the supplier accountable they will all fall like dominos.
Almost as disturbing as these allegations is the alleged indifference from our local town office, health officer, animal control, and state police. Complaints about the dumping of grey and black water are unrecognized, while reports of animal abuse and neglect are ignored. Not to mention that the state police's lack of timely response is distressing. Piles of burning garbage, a severe fire hazard, have also been reported.
It is unacceptable for such pressing issues to be unattended, especially when our community's safety and harmony are at stake. It is distressing that 1 in 4 children in America live in a neighborhood with at least one drug-dealing house, which undoubtedly exposes them to harm's way (Source: America's Children in Brief: Key Indicators of Well-being). The situation worsens when authorities intended to protect and serve seem to turn a blind eye.
Thus, this petition calls for immediate investigation and rectification of the numerous allegations against 224 Main Street. We urge our local officials to step up in ensuring safety, peace, and the rule of law. We appeal to the town office, the health officer, animal control, and state police to protect, serve, and restore harmony in our community.
Please, let's bring safety back to our streets, peace to our minds, and smiles to our children’s faces. Sign this petition today.
