Needmore Road has always been a farming community, its rural setting has created a peaceful haven that we cherish. A recent idea for a mobile home park at Needmore and New Hope threatens to change this. We must rally against this idea to preserve not just the nature of the area, but also the quality of living for its residents. Our Douglas school district is already at capacity, adding additional students will only add to the issues.  Additionally, research suggests that high-density housing can potentially contribute to an increase in crime rate (Journal of Environmental Psychology). Needmore Road's tranquility could be jeopardized by this. We call on you to protect our farming community, the quality of education for our children, and our peaceful environment by speaking out against this mobile home park.
