The 2022, 2023 and 2024 NRL seasons have seen NRL referee, Ashley Klein, make calls that have been game deciders. These calls have come on the field and in the bunker. 

If you’re an avid NRL fan, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. No matter who you support, you’ve surely had at least a few moments in the last two seasons where you witnessed a Klein masterclass. We all want a fair game, with no bias and no turning of a blind eye. Dropping a referee who has proven time and time again to make game changing calls isn’t enough. A message needs to be sent to all referees in the sport and he needs to be sacked - not just dropped for a game or two or sent to the bunker.
