Stop revision of the Genocide against the Tutsi

Stop revision of the Genocide against the Tutsi
The Issue
Umurinzi Initiative is a Rwandan organization whose mission is to support and promote activities geared towards fighting deniers of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
We have been watching some individuals spreading news, views, and multiple statements that in our opinion are falling in the scope of the laws punishing Genocide denial and other laws related to public order maintenance.
However, through their publications, the same people are inciting the people of Rwanda to turn against the government and no legal action is taken to stop them yet, others who were in the same circumstances have been brought to justice.
Article 38 of the Rwandan constitution talks about the right to freedom of expression and sets out the limitations for those who misuse this right., The article further stipulates that there shall be no freedom or information that prejudice public order, good morals and the propagation of ethnic, regional and racial discrimination.
As concerned citizens, we find a big gap in implementing the afore mentioned law and especially in recidivist fashion.
Individuals like Aimable Uzaramba Karasira, Agnès Uwimana Nkusi and likes are spreading hate speeche(s) with impunity. They never fear to deny the Genocide against the Tutsi publicly and on social media, notably You-tube channels.
With our bitter history in mind, we decided not to keep quiet on this toxic propaganda affecting our youth.,
We urge law enforcers as entrusted by citizens to protect the general public.
These are acts that are punished by our laws, that is why we are submitting this matter to the two chambers of the Parliament (Senate and Deputies), the Ministry of Justice, and the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) to take action on this issue and bring genocide deniers to justice.
Yours faithfully.
