As interns at Summit Oaks Hospital, we are devastated feel that it has been unfairly taken away from us. We worked hard for this field placement and knew the risks when we accepted the placement. We are all adults who are giving our money to be placed at this internship and are able to make decisions regarding our own personal safety. This decision was made in a day with no input from the MSW students who are in this field placement. Removing us will impact not only our studies but our LSW exams and our future careers. We deserve the choice whether we would like to return to Summit Oaks or pursue an alternative internship.
