Reduce Rushmoor Council Tax rates

Reduce Rushmoor Council Tax rates
The Issue
I am calling for a 6% decrease in Local Council Tax rates for all bands of household in Rushmoor (Farnborough & Aldershot).
Rushmoor Borough Council councillors voted to increase Council Tax rates for the fourth time in 9 years in 2019.
There were 22 RBC councillors who voted to increase Council Tax rates by 2.99% in 2018 and in 2017 Council Tax was increased by 2.66% at the request of RBC councillors. Rushmoor Council Tax was increased by a further 2.99% in 2019 and we are currently waiting for the next increase in local taxation.
The Council Tax hike was branded "small" by RBC, and generated a further £293,000 from the pockets of hard-working local people in 2018, and taking into account Council Tax was increased by another 2.99% in 2019 the figures start to look quite shocking.
Increasing Local Council Tax rates two years in a row and the fact Band D households will now pay £1,710.46 per annum is not acceptable and does not take into account cost of living or wage stagnation. RBC councillors might think it's a good deal and a "small" increase, but that does not mean most local residents agree or believe it is good value for money.
Local Council Tax rates should be decreased by 6% for all households in Farnborough & Aldershot, and a ten-year freeze should be implemented with immediate effect.
