The Victorian Abbey Road Pumping Station is part of the old Abbey Road Depot site. The site has been sold for redevelopment and planning permission has been given for the demolition of this historic local landmark.

Although it has previously been unsympathetically‘modernised’ the building retains its basic integrity and is a significant part of our local history.

Please help us with petitioning Rushcliffe Borough Council and the developers to retain this building and to devise an appropriate plan for use: further homes or, ideally, a much needed community resource to serve current, and future local residents.
