The 754 route carried students directly from downtown Chicago to Lewis University. This route saved students more than a thousand dollars, as they no longer had to take Rock Island/BNSF + 834 bus.

Because of the pandemic, it was suspended for the fall semester, and students commuting from the city have been placed back in that expensive/timely position. Due to even fewer train + busses, it has become even more difficult for these students. The 834 schedule is not coordinated with the train schedule obviously, so it is very easy to miss the connection and class. 

While Lewis has implemented distanced learning and the hybrid-model, most students still need to come in more than half of the week. The point of this petition is to see whether there is a demand for this bus so that Pace will resume this route.
