Who is affected?
All train users especially people working late, theatre and concert attendees, people travelling from the airport and coming off late or delayed flights,
What is at stake?
People have to make alternative arrangements, stay over in Dublin, use private cars or decide not to attend an event.
Why is it now time to act?
The train timetable has been altered over the years to accommodate early commuters but nothing has been done for the later commuter going to Tullamore, Clara or Athlone. NOW is the time to add extra train services after 7.35pm from Heuston, stopping at Tullamore, Clara and Athlone.
