In Genshin impact, special weapons are often given out as a part of a limited-time event. Once such events have concluded, the weapon can no longer be obtained. In the Dec 2021 event Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, the sword "Cinnabar Spindle" was given out. To date, it is Albedo's best in slot (BiS) by a very large margin.

People who have either missed the event or started playing afterward have no choice but to use the substantially worse 3-star "Harbinger of Dawn" on Albedo. This petition aims to convince Hoyoverse to make it so Albedo-havers who missed Cinnabar Spindle are still able to get his BiS weapon.

This can be done in two ways. First, Hoyoverse can provide a way for players to access missed event weapons after the event has ended. Or perhaps even rerun previous events in their entirety. However, they have demonstrated a clear apprehension to making previous event-locked content accessible, so this seems unlikely.

The second solution seems more likely. Unlike many other limited 5-star characters, Albedo does not have a 5-star signature weapon specifically designed for him. Give him one. Hoyoverse have given limited 5-star characters a new signature weapon post-release before (Aka Tartaglia and Polar Star), so it would not be anything unusual. What's more, Albedo is long due for a rerun very soon.

Seeing as Albedo has not been rerun for over a year, the time is ripe for him to make a big return with a new 5-star signature weapon!
