Run a post show direct train service from Euston to Leighton Buzzard
Why this petition matters

Having now been in Leighton Buzzard for nearly four years, I like many others have enjoyed the fast 27 minute train into London Euston, that runs at 7 minutes to the hour, every hour until about 10:00pm. It's one of the major considerations when moving to the area. When I mention this to colleagues their eyebrows always raise, it's a hidden gem.
I am part of the theatre community that live in Leighton Buzzard, a significant number of actors, technicians, musicians and roles both behind the scenes and on the stage, not limited to theatre but film and TV too.
Such is the nature of the beast, most of us wont finish work until 10:00pm, and that's before trying to navigate the traffic of London both above and below ground to get to London Euston.
The last direct (30 minute) service departs at 9:57pm. This forces those who are commuting back home, after a long day entertaining hundreds of people to use the 52 minute services, which call at all destinations.
This takes the daily commute to 1 hour and 22 minutes - and that's just into Euston. It's easily two hours once you eventually get to work.
This petition is to ask London Northwestern Railway to consider an alteration to the timetable, that would create one more direct service to Leighton Buzzard, ideally the 10:34pm.
This would transform the working day for hundreds of people, not to mention the knock on benefits this would have for attracting more people to the town.
It would serve the thriving theatre community in Leighton Buzzard, but also the audiences and those who travel from LB from nearby villages.
