Frank has lived and worked in England for 16 years. His application for right to remain in the UK was rejected in July 2000 but he wasn't informed of this and has since built his life here in England. He is now being detained awaiting deportation. Frank has never broken a law, has paid taxes, never claimed benefits and is loved by everyone who knows him. He faces deportation to Tanzania despite the fact his family live in the U.S.A. 34 letters of character reference and donations of over £2000 to pay solicitor fees haven't been enough to convince the home office that he has strong ties in England. If deported, Frank will be forced to build a new life alone and in a country that is unfamiliar to him. Quite simply, Frank is a benefit to our country and deporting him would be inhumane. I'm proud of our country. We offer help to those who need it and equality for all. That makes this decision beyond ridiculous. Frank considers his friends as his family. His friends consider him as family. To remove him from his family and the life he has worked so hard to create is inhumane and cruel. He is a benefit to this country and a benefit to everyone who knows him. We hope to receive enough support to convince the home office to reconsider their decision, review Frank's case and make the right decision by allowing him to remain in the UK.
