Hundreds of thousands of NHS hospital nurses are being forced to pay extortionate parking charges simply for going to work. 

Low-paid nurses do a demanding, vital job for little reward so the last thing they need is to be charged for going to work. 

But that is what is happening at many hospitals. 

There is no other way to describe the parking charges imposed on them as they often have no alternative to driving.

When they do night shifts, finish late, start early or work at out-of-town hospitals, they don't have the option of using public transport.  

The Sunday Mirror is calling for an end to these rip-off charges which we think are unfair.
