There are too many male cats that are not neutered, when they are left intact they are aggressive and will attack other cats, they can seriously injure and kill much loved and cared for pets. It is irresponsible and dangerous not to neuter your cat. There are also far to many unwanted cats in rescue centres, so something needs to be done. A much loved, neutered, chipped, vaccinated and cared for cat was killed in his own garden by an uneutered Tom, whose claw pierced his windpipe during a fight, Charlie didn't stand a chance, having only just recovered from another serious injury inflicted on him by the same cat. The cat that attacked Charlie is not a stray, but is not neutered, if he had been neutered he would not have been so aggressive and Charlie would still have been here.
