I want and need to stop any form of animal racing as too many animals die everyday during every race, watching the grand national has opens my eyes as to the damaging and life threatening consequences it has on horses. I am aware that’s it’s not just horse racing that takes place, so I want to make a stand and stop all kinds of animal racing such as, dogs and horses and many more. I am fully aware the grand national is something Jockeys train for, for years and people view it to be a very big event however, my priority is the animals who get hurt and I love animals so much that I will not stand by and do nothing I just can’t. The amount of injuries and deaths that come out after the grand national is appalling and so upsetting, I was watching the grand national races today and the amount of horses that hurt or killed themselves was horrendous and I was crying just watching to the point I had to turn off as it was too much for me to handle. I want all animals to be safe and for them to have a happy and beautiful life that they deserve, animals can’t speak therefore they are forced to race which is not right. If it was a human and they didn’t want to race they wouldn’t simple as that, but people think when it comes to animals it doesn’t matter well I’m here to prove you wrong. I need as many people as possible to help me with this, I WANT THE GRAND NATIONAL TO BE CANCELLED FOREVER AND ALL THE OTHER ANIMAL RACES! The grand national was rescheduled this year due to the death of Prince Phillip, but when horses due year after year after year the races continue and more horses lose their precious life in dramatic and awful ways. I’m not saying horses can’t train because training and jumping is important for their growth and stability, but races should not and I repeat should not take place any longer.
