Dear Readers
Just a quick update to let you know what has happened with my attempts to get the NSW Government (as Administrators of POCTA) to make the RSPCA NSW accountable for their role as enforcers of POCTA. Long time readers of this petition page will know that I used to live next door to an animal hoarder who had approximately 200 cats on his property. Those poor animals had the most dreadful existence. The photo shows the absolute squalor and filth those cats lived in. They will all have passed over now, and I am hopeful that they are now in a far better world. The RSPCA NSW always stated that `there were no welfare issues’, and all my efforts now are to make the NSW Government (as the administrators of the enforcer of POCTA) investigate what has happened, and to dismiss them as enforcers! This would save NSW taxpayers a considerable amount of public funds and could result in another organisation (and a far better one) being appointed.
This is the third Minister in the NSW Government who I have written to, all to no success! As soon as I have a response (as promised see below) I shall let you know.
Thanks for all those who have taken such an interest in trying to effect change.
Please tell your friends and contacts about this matter. Bad publicity tends to make politicians act!
