A very quick update to let you know developments. Two readers commented in my last post that submissions did not close till 17 Sept and although I have not verified that I urge all of you who would still like to make a submission please research that avenue by going to the DPI NSW Animal Welfare website.

ps the photo once more shows some of the absolute awfulness of what went on at Camp Kitty. The RSPCA NSW kept saying that `there were no welfare issues’, but they did nothing to rectify the situation till after the horror of it all was shown on Prime 7 News. Suddenly they went from saying `no welfare issues’ to the RSPCA NSW taking action and the Camp Kitty owner being found guilty of 33 animal cruelty charges.
