Very little to report since last update. A Council Ranger was seen at the property in mid January but this visit has not resulted in any changes to the cat’s situation. The feeding/containment area at the rear is still littered with discarded food cans and a fallen tree branch. This area of Cowra has recently suffered very strong winds, with downed trees, and a fallen branch can be seen in the feeding area (see photo). The solitary cat has been sighted, so it still endures its awful living conditions. The other cats have not been sighted but they have to suffer constant banging of a loose panel or door when the wind is blowing. I have said this many times; I know of animal lovers that can find these poor creatures good homes, so they can get some enjoyment out of their time on this earth. Please encourage Cowra Council to rescue them! Contact details Cowra Council – Tel 02 6340 2000 email - council@cowra.nsw.gov.au I wish to thank those supporters of this petition site who must have donated to change.org as petition supporter numbers rose considerably after the last update! I pledge to write to every council and MP in NSW once the petition reaches 10,000 to let them know what has happened at Camp Kitty and to suggest ways to prevent this situation from ongoing and from happening again.
