Hi Everyone. Although the site says Petition Closed it seems I can still update and receive your comments.
I was surprised to see the response from the RSPCA. Was it a ploy to get the site closed, as I did receive an email from Change.org to ask if I wanted to have the petition classified as `won'?
Of course the petition is not `won'. If you read carefully the statement from the RSPCA they use the word KNOW when really if they are accepting that had there been cruelty existing at Camp Kitty all that time ago they would have used the word KNEW. I think maybe the finest legal minds at the RSPCA have drafted that response so that it does NOT acknowledge that cruelty had been going on for the period of time as outlined in my petition, but maybe enough to make Change.org think the petition was won.
All the way through this petition process I have found the RSPCA to be rather less than straightforward, and this is also the case with their response.
They have used diversionary tactics and now a craftily worded response.
They need to look back at the wording of the petition and address the issues that I have raised and the photographic proof I have provided. They said that `there were no welfare issues' at this time, are they still sticking by that?
This petition is having an effect, and I will continue with it while I have the ability to do so. While you the readers continue to comment I will continue with my efforts, and rest assured I will give notice if ever I decided to end the campaign.
If I give up now nothing will have been achieved apart for a brief spell of embarrassment to the RSPCA. Also I believe it will encourage them to continue as they have before, ignoring complaints with suffering animals as collateral damage.
Please continue reading and above all commenting. Remember we need an organisation that cares and deals with cruelty issues in the animal world, and especially for the RSPCA NSW to deal with the cruelty issues that exist now and have existed in the past here in NSW!

Today's photo shows cats huddled together, taken in the middle of winter last year. I think they are huddled to keep warm, I guess the RSPCA would say I cannot prove this, they may just like each other! However no welfare issues.
