Below is a letter I sent to the RSPCA NSW on the 5th Sept 16
Dear RSPCA NSW,
You are aware of Camp Kitty 230 Conimbla Road Cowra.
Attached are two photos of the location where one cat is housed, taken on 2 sept 2016
The accommodation for it is as follows.
1. There is no reasonable shelter with dry bedding
2. The grass in that area is very long
3. The ground is waterlogged
4. The cat spends its time on top of the kennel trying to keep dry
5 It is fed infrequently
6. It gets no exercise or mental stimulation
During the excessive rains over the weekend, especially on Thursday and on Friday, it was heard meowing throughout the night and most of Saturday when a concerned person gave it food.
This is obviously very distressing for the neighbours and I ask that you investigate this as a matter of priority.
Regards Keith Climpson,
Yesterday (28-9-16) an Inspector visited Camp Kitty. He did not stay long, and the poor cat still remains in its continued state of isolation and dampness.
We had another heavy downpour last night (about 15mm).
Please encourage the RSPCA to rescue it.
There are many people I know who would re home it and allow it to live out its life in comfort and companionship.
RSPCA's email is mail@rspcansw.org.au tel no 02 9770 7555
Regards Keith
