There is a cat that has lived all winter at Camp Kitty, totally isolated from companions, with no adequate shelter or regular meals, or any attempt at dry bedding. The grass is about half a metre high with the ground totally waterlogged, Flooding is so bad in parts of NSW that some areas are isolated! Overseas readers should note that temperatures in the winter time here can drop below freezing but this winter has been exceptional for the amount of rain. Hence the cat will have been wet and cold for many days on end! How it has survived is just a miracle. I informed the RSPCA NSW on the 5th Sept, and also on the 20th Sept. The Police were informed of the situation last week and they have reported the matter also to the RSPCA. I also know that Cowra Council have reported this matter. The cat still remains where it is, suffering! In previous posts I have asked that you express your disapproval by emailing or phoning the RSPCA but I notice that these contact details have been removed.
