Our mission statement.  This petition has been organised to keep up awareness of the plight of the poor horses that remain at the now defunct Misty Ridge Equestrian Centre, that is at Blaxlands Ridge NSW. Four horses were seized on the 31st of March 2016, after many RSPCA reports that had been lodged and have been lodged over the past decade. RSPCA inspectors really need to be checking upon these horses daily, as their needs are not being met and you cannot see behind the colourbond fence that runs the width of the property and shields these poor souls from the general public. Approx 15 horses remain at the property, along with Dogs, Cats, Goats and a Cow and we have grave concerns for their wellbeing, if they arent seized immediately. RSPCA NSW, You need to means-test the people you are investigating, how else can you be sure that they can adequately care for the animals they have left in their care? RSPCA NSW, You need to be at the property daily, or have a qualified Representative there daily, overseeing these animals to ensure they are being fed. RSPCA NSW, Why has it taken 10 years for you to take some action? RSPCA NSW, Why did it take you over a week, over 100 complaints and a Facebook page being created for you to attend the property this time?  RSPCA NSW, How is your internal investigation regarding the previous inspectors going? I'm sure if you investigate you will find some interesting connections and some very questionable responses.
