Ban Lawrence Moran of Total Dogs Ltd from owning and working with animals

The Issue

This petition has been created so that we can get justice and answers for the three dogs who went into the care of Lawrence Moran at Total Dogs in Netherton, Liverpool UK, but sadly never returned to their owners. Many other dogs have also been reported to have suffered from severe neglect and trauma while in the care of Lawrence Moran. Moran practices inhumane training methods including the use of electric shock collars and prong collars.

Alfie, a 3 year old male Yorkshire Terrier was in the care of Lawrence Moran in March 2014. Moran contacted Alfie's owners to say that Alife had ran off on a walk at Crosby Beach. Despite several searches Alfie has never been seen again. He was neutered and microchipped.

Gizmo, a male Shih Tzu was in the care of Lawrence Moran from July-August 2015. Moran contacted Gizmo's owners to say that Gizmo (just like Alfie) had ran off on a walk at Crosby Beach.
After many agonising weeks searching for Gimzo it eventually came to light that Gizmo had in fact died at Lawrence Moran's boarding kennels after being attacked by other dogs. His body has never been found.

Finn, a healthy 3 year old male Chihuahua stayed with Lawrence Moran at his boarding kennels for a period of 3 weeks while his owner was on holiday during July-August 2015. 3 days before his owner was due to return she received a phone call from Moran to say that Finn had gone into his kennel and 'fell asleep', he claimed that he had suffered from a heart attack. When asked for his body, Finn's owner was told he had been cremated. All the crematoriums in the area have been contacted but have no record of Finn being cremated there. His body has never been found.

In 2012 Blue, a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier returned from Lawrence Moran's care with severe burns to his neck. Moran had told Blue's owner that a dog had bitten him in the park but the vet who examined Blue confirmed that his injuries were in fact consistent with the use of an Electric shock collar.

Jack, a male Shih Tzu returned from Lawrence Moran's care with a severe injury to his eye. Moran told the owner that Jack caught his eye on a branch. The vet said who treated Jack said that his eye had been left untreated for days and sadly needed to be removed.
