I just wanted to thoroughly explain the last paragraph of my last update so that there is no confusion. Ironically, at the meeting we listened to the plans of another developer who requested to have their conservation easement changed to suit their residential development plans and their request to change the boundaries of the conservation easement on the developers property was accepted. This is one more example of the county's willingness to oblige a well-funded developers goals, even when the developer is requesting to change environmentally protected property. How ironic and what timing to hear that case get approved last night.
