Round Rock ISD recently announced that they plan to remove to library assistants from their campuses. Librarian Assistants are vital to their libraries as they help their library maintain organization and help with administrative jobs to allow the librarians time to work on collection development, cataloging, reader's advisory, class lessons, enrichment, collaborate with teachers, and so much more. 

Librarian Assistants are the first people you see when you walk into the library and are often a constant thread in the school. Investing in librarians, librarian assistants and libraries is investing in our children's futures.
