We, the undersigned, demand that charges be filed against the Austin Police Officers responsible for the death of 17-year-old David Joseph, who was fatally shot while naked on February 8, 2016, when a police squad car driven by officer Geoffrey Freeman suddenly descended upon David and Officer Freeman fired deadly shots within seconds. Unless police are held accountable for such unwarranted use of deadly force, there is no question but that tragedies like this will continue to happen.
