Thank you for your support of the Linganore Road relocation and completion of the Rosehaven Manor community.  We still need supporters to communicate with the Frederick County Council since we have one more vote to pass.  

The Council vote is to approve the Open/Close/Alter Process in relationship to State of Maryland law for the relocation of Linganore Road.  Typically such a vote is routine since the plans have been approved by the staff and it is supported by the County Executive, Jessica Fitzwater.  However, four of the seven Council Members are new and may not be aware of the history of past approvals, and two Council Members previously voted against the project extension.  Fortunately, the Council Member, Steve McCay, who sponsored the project extension is still on the Council. So, we need at least four of the seven votes to be in favor of the OCA Process for the Linganore Road Relocation.    

We are scheduled for the vote to take place at the Frederick County Council meeting on February 21, 2023 at 5:30 PM in Winchester Hall.  

It would be helpful for the County Council to receive emails in favor of the relocation of Linganore Road and the platting of the Rosehaven Manor community.  The email address that goes to all of the Council Members at once is CouncilMembers@FrederickCountyMD.gov.
