A massive data center in being rushed onto land next to the small towns of STOCKDALE, ROSCOE, ALLENPORT, ELCO, AND DUNLEVY.  This petition is to show support of Fighting Data Center Development in our Mon Valley towns.  EQT is proposing building multiple data centers.  According to the EQT online sources, this site would cover over 400 acres. This proposed data center has been put before local officials with no information provided to the residents of the community.  The proposed site is less than 1000 feet from residents' homes.  Across the country, data center have completely changed the communities they inhabit.  Residents of Stockdale, Allenport, Roscoe, Dunlevy, and Elco reject the proposal of a data center campus, and all future AI data centers in this area.  As individuals  who care about our environment,  taxes, communal spaces, and property values, building these would pose a direct threat to what makes these small towns great.  We ask elected officials focus on the needs and desires of the residents  they serve, and carry out their civic duty to protect their community for the people of today and tomorrow.
