On December 27th, 2020, RWBY Amitty Arena announced that it would be shutting down on January 28th, 2021.

RWBY: Amity Arena is currently the most successful game based on the Rooster Teeth series RWBY. It is a mobile strategy game where the goal is to destroy turrets on the opposing side. You're also able to collect many of the characters featured in the series.

However, not every character that was promised to us has been released yet, but they still decide to shut it down. The game also has a huge fanbase and has people who use the art graphics in the game for their own work.

The fact that this is happening is not very good at all, and may paint a bad picture for RWBY itself. Grimm Eclipse and Crystal Match were two other games made based on the show, and both failed miserably. But Amity Arena was able to stay strong---until the devs started acting lazy. First they refused to listen to feedback and make broken characters worse, then they refuse to fix bugs, and from what this looks like, instead of fixing ANYTHING, they decide to just shut everything down.

I think one way we can get the game to not get cancelled is if we can get competent developers on board to fix the game and keep it running. I also think if Rooster Teeth actually stepped in and did their job monitoring things, this may not have happened.

The goal of this petition is to actually reach out to the developers of RWBY: Amity Arena AND Rooster Teeth, show them what they did wrong, and show them that closing down the game instead of fixing easily fixable problems is a lazy copout that will only upset more people and make Rooster Teeth look worse.

Everyone who signs will be people who also don't want the game gone, and if there is enough people proving it is a mistake to shut it down, then maybe somebody will listen.

I just hope this gets to the devs and not just some PR person who knows little to nothing about what is going on.
