Allow the cruise ships that are sitting off your shore to dock and disembark their passengers and HELP those in need of medical care...NOT just those people from your state.

Florida's tourist dollars allow your state to live and breath. If you are not going to take care of people who DO NOT live in your state then we will take our vacation money else where.

I visit Florida 2-3 times a year, I am a frequent cruiser. I spend money on food, hotels, entertainment, transportation and many other things and in doing so I expect to get treated like a human being NOT A LEPER. But now I am wondering....If I am in your state and something happens am I screwed ? Will you only take care of your people ? How will you respond when a group of travelers who reside in Florida take a trip and are denied care because of where they live? What about any exchange students from your state ? Do you want them to experience what families in other parts of the world are experiencing because their loved ones can not get medical attention or come home because of what MAY happen ? According to Visit Florida (your states tourist site) you get about 110 million domestic travelers and 14 million foriegn travelers.. Thats a lot of people who support your state VS. the approximately 8000 people who would like to go home (about 150 of whom are sick). Are you willing to ignore all of this ? Does giving up some beds and resources in the WORLD'S time of need really put that much of a strain on your system ? If you can't help 8000 people when the chips are down how in the heck can you help 124 million of us when things are good ?

Bottom line....why I want everyone to sign this petition ? WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS and we deserve to be treated with care and compassion by everyone no matter where we are. We have a choice where our vacation dollars are spent and if Florida does not want us in a time of need then they do not need our hard earned dollars when things are bright and cheerful.

If you do not allow this to happen then the WHOLE WORLD should BOYCOTT Florida tourism and spend their money elsewhere.
