Commissioner Roger Goodell,

On January 20,2019 we witnessed the biggest travesty of the 2018/19 NFL season. You have an opportunity to make slight amends to the thousands of fans, families, and businesses that were directly affected by the missed calls of Bill Vinovich in the closing minutes of regulation of the LA Rams & New Orleans Saints NFC Championship game. Your officiating crew is directly responsible for sending the wrong team to the Superbowl. The NFL has openly admitted to missing the two penalties made by the Rams defensive player. Quoted from Saints Head Coach Sean Peyton, “It was simple, they blew the call. They said, ‘There never should not have been a call.’ They said not only was it interference, it was helmet-to-helmet. They couldn’t believe it.”

Given this admission of guilt, we demand that the title of NFC Champions LA Rams  be marked with an asterisk, denoting that the NFL altered the outcome of the game with two missed calls. The wrong team is playing in the Superbowl. Since this outcome cannot be reversed, the asterisk will acknowledge that the best NFC team is playing in the 2019 Superbowl.

We appreciate you assuring this resolution gets your full attention.

Respectfully,

Tim-Shea Carroll & Tiffany Rose
