Remove KD Ratio In GTA 5 Online
The Issue
- I've been playing GTA 5 online now for just under 3 years. When I started playing online back on the 5th of December 2017, the game was a lot different than it is today. Granted, The Kill-Death ratio has been in online ever since its creation. But with the rise of new weaponized veichle's and equipment, I think it's time for a change. GTA used to be a fun place to play back when I first started. Players were friendly and hackers were almost nonexistent. But in recent months with the newly added updates, the game is becoming a constant warzone. You will just be driving your newly purchased super car to LS -customs, and before you know it, your brand new car is a burnt corps spinning around in the middle of the road as you see some tryhard flying away on his MK2. This has become most players reality in Online today. The newly starting players that have arrived since the Casino update barley even have a chance to grow their characters while being spawn killed by MK2's and Jets. Because I've been a very active player for the past 2½ years, I'm currently sitting at a level of 334. And I have had my fair share of Freeroam fights. From a simple pistol whip fling to a fully fledged military grade session war. Anyone who has been a player for as long as I have, and even longer, knows that there is always one lasting problem with all of these encounters, and it's the KD warriors. These are truly the most undesirable players you will ever encounter. They will spawn kill you, ghost kill you, jet kill you, tank kill you, MK2 kill you, and the most dreaded Orbital cannon. And once they've well and truly blown you up and interrupted your way of life, they will send you a message along the lines of "Ur bad kid", "Negative KD LoooL", "Noob", or "4-0, Ur bad". The KD Ratio's existence makes a typically fun game a complete chore for most players. Having to deal with Tryhards on a daily bases is only amplified by their urge to have the highest KD. That's why I'm starting this petition. Because I think I speak for everyone when I say that we just want the game back to being fun again. We want fights to be a GG, not a fight for the best KD. We want GTA 5 Online to be a fun place again. After 6 years of the games existence, I think it's time for change. And if you think so too, please sign this petition.
