Release Bully 2
The Issue
Bully was an amazing game that revolved around the main protagonist James "Jimmy" Hopkins and his year at Bullworth Academy. Jimmy decides to climb the schools social/dominance ladder so that he can put an end to bullying at the school. It's an open world game in which the player completes main story and side missions in order to gain favor with the multitude of cliques and factions found throughout the game. Jimmy also attends classes and lives the life of a student at Bullworth. The game got great reviews and was one of the less violent Rockstar games. Rockstar also released Bully Scholarship Addition, where 2 players can compete to earn the highest scores in the different classes of the game.
A second Bully would be a great project for Rockstar Games, the original game built up a HUGE fan base with many players asking for a sequel in the series. Personally, I am one of those players. If you've read this far. you likely are too. The original Bully offered a wide range of fun quests and activities you could enjoy, or you could explore the open map interacting with the world in your own way. A second Bully, built with the RDR2 engine could really be a unique and awesome modern game that would potentially see huge sales and awesome reviews if done correctly. It could follow Jimmy into either his senior year in high school, or maybe even a whole new experience in college with new challenges, classes, cliques, and objectives. Bully could have so much potential as a series.
If you haven't played the original game, I would definitely suggest doing so. Rockstar did a great job creating an immersive environment with fun that rivalled many games of the time, and is still a blast to play today. A second Bully would see to hours more fun, and with Rockstar's eye for detail, could blow other new games out of the water with its potentially immersive "lived in" feel.
Rockstar, we LOVE Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto, and we want those series to continue. We just think you're missing a great opportunity in the awesome game that is Bully. For your fans, and all gamers alike, hear our cry! Sign and share! We'll get Rockstar Games' Bully 2 in the works soon!
P.S. A remastered version of the original would be great too. At least give us that.
