Those in Opposition of the Current Proposal to Re-District SRES to Elkton & East Rock

Those in Opposition of the Current Proposal to Re-District SRES to Elkton & East Rock
The Issue
On November 11th, 2019, the Rockingham County School Board Superintendent, Oskar Scheikl made the formal proposal for South River Elementary School children to be re-districted to go to Elkton Middle School and East Rockingham High School.
With this petition I am hoping to raise awareness to the community about the proposed changes and bring to the Rockingham County School Board’s attention exactly how many people are in opposition of their formal proposal.
Proposed Changes:
-SRES to Elkton/East Rockingham
-Stagger start times and shorter days for school (Elementary 8-2 and Middle/high 9-3)
-Elkton Middle School 8th graders to attend East Rockingham High instead.
If you are not in favor of the proposed changes, please sign. If you have any facts against this please share!
Also please attend the November 25th school board meeting at the Grottoes Fire Department!
