Chuck Brown is the Godfather of Go-Go music.  He pioneered a new genre of music by blending rock, funk, hip-hop, soul, and whatever else feels good.  He is the sound of Washington D.C.  Anyone that saw Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers knows they are worthy of this honor!!

The Rock & Roll H.O.F. has acknowledged non-traditional rock acts as being acceptable for induction into the H.O.F.  By the current standards set by the committee, Chuck Brown is more than qualified for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  The most important aspect of his artistic contributions being that his music is world-class!
