I must have been about 10 year old, there was my nan, grandad and probably 6 or 7 of us grandkids squashed into the back of the car for a trip out to Knowl Hill. We would follow the footpaths but was always left to our own devises to explore and enjoy ourselves. My nan would always be at the back with the slow coaches and my grandad up front racing to the top. There was no better day out. Still to this day, if any of us go up Knowl Hill, the first people to tell are my nan & grandad. The entertainment doesn’t wear.

It is illegal to motorbike / quad-bike across the moors, yet so many people still do it and it is destroying the land. Visiting the moors is to experience nature & wildlife, not 15 minutes of fun on a motorbike.

The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness of the damage being caused by motorbikes / quad-bikes and bring it to the forefront of the councils agendas. Please sign and share across your social media!
