Ever since the NFL brought upon the new rule of players only being able to wear one helmet a season, Patriots fans have yet to see the team wear an alternate or throwback uniform. The original red jersey can no longer be worn due to the fact that the helmets being recolored as white to adorn the Pat Patriot logo to match the uniform, is incapable of doing, apparently. Those who have signed this petition would like to see the team wear the early-mid 90s royal blue uniforms with the italic white outlined in red numbers as the alternate for the season of 2016-2017. These uniforms can be worn without the changing of the helmet design. As fans, we ask the organization to bring these uniforms back for a couple games this season. Doing this would be greatly appreciated.
