Fight for animal rights in Alabama! Force action on these teens who burned a dog alive.

Fight for animal rights in Alabama! Force action on these teens who burned a dog alive.

The Issue

On Tuesday, April 27, 2016, police in Foley, Alabama reported a dog was euthanized because of injuries suffered when the animal was set on fire by 3 teenagers.  Officials found the dog on fire in a bedroom closet inside an abandoned trailer on Wednesday, April 20 after one of the suspects poured an accelerant on the dog before lighting it on fire.

Police have arrested Jabari Maliek Stots a 19-year-old who is responsible for pouring camping fuel on the dog and lighting it on fire.  Two teenagers - a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy - who police say were present when the dog was set on fire were released after only being charged with criminal trespassing.

There are other states with stricter laws regarding treatment of animals and Alabama needs to follow their lead.  Please help us bring these teens to justice!  These horrible teenagers are a threat to society and need to be put in jail.  This poor dog did not die in vain.  We have to take a stand and punish these teenagers for this horrific crime against a helpless dog.  We want to push for the punishment of these teens, which will hopefully lead to legislation that will protect animals in the state of Alabama.
