Say NO to greed and environmental vandalism

Don't let another environmental disaster happen.
Nora Creina is a pristine site near Robe, which has significant Indigenous importance, as well as endangered species of flora and fauna. The newly approved proposal is to bulldoze privately owned sand dunes to develop two 18 hole golf courses. There is already an existing golf course at Robe,16 kms away.
"The development needs the support of the federal Environment Department because it involves clearing native vegetation which is home to a number of threatened and endangered animals and plants."
From the United Nations Environment Programme;
"In recent years golf tourism has increased in popularity and the number of golf courses has grown rapidly. Golf courses require an enormous amount of water every day and, as with other causes of excessive extraction of water, this can result in water scarcity. If the water comes from wells, overpumping can cause saline intrusion into groundwater. Golf resorts are more and more often situated in or near protected areas or areas where resources are limited, exacerbating their impacts."
So, in the driest state, in the driest continent, in the middle of the greatest climate catastrophe ever, we get another ridiculous environmental disaster. Please let the District Council of Robe (council@robe.sa.gov.au), Federal Environment Minister Sussan Ley (sussan.ley.mp@aph.gov.au) and State Environment Minister, David Speirs, (black@parliament.sa.gov.au) know your thoughts on the protection of this fragile ecosystem.
