Hello my name is Payton Adams and I’m a local skater from Buckhannon, and like many other skaters, I’ve grown tired of the lack of areas to skate. A well managed facility would be beneficial to the residents of the city, and a great outlet for the youth. Skate boarding is a fun and healthy activity for both kids and adults, and offers a great sense of community. Having a designated area would allow those who partake in skating to have a safe and fun environment to learn, plus skating is a great form of green transportation.
