When old Riverdale was founded, it was a Dutch man who built a large water mill. The idea is to put a new water mill in after the bridge, one that lets fish get through. It could also provide hydro power, and electricity to the houses/buildings around it. 

The fundraiser, originally, to build tiny homes out of recycled material, was change for a new water mill due to high amounts of flooding.
We want to name it after Daniel Burch, who build the first grist mill in Riverdale.

Riverdale needs to preserve more of the stories behind our heritage.
