In the Summer of 2020, the NYC Parks Department closed the public dock at Muscota Marsh for repair.  Almost a year later, nothing has been done to the closed dock.  The Parks Department has given the task of rebuilding the dock to Columbia University, which is private.  CU has posted a sign that indicates that the dock will not be repaired before or necessarily by the Fall of 2021.  We are asking the NYC Parks Dept to provide some sort of temporary accommodation that would allow safe access for single or tandem paddlers for the Summer 2021 season.  This is a public dock and while Columbia has been deemed responsible for repairing the dock, the access to the dock lies within the NYC Parks Department.
