Since Riot is already re-vamping their launcher, it seems like a good time to remind them how much the Linux community would appreciate natively running League of Legends. Though it's nice that a fourth of Steam's games are available on Linux, it would be nice if one of the consistently top 3 most played games listed were to join the eco-system. This would help those that are just holding out on a windows partition to update League files for wine to finally reclaim their hard drive space. This would bring ease of mind to the players petitioning of official support for their operating system (instead of the countless annoyances listed on the forums/WineHQ/PlayOnLinux) This would be such a pro-active way to promote the legitimacy of Linux to the overarching player base. There would be linux gamers grateful for it even if they didn't play LoL, simply because it is a big game and would bring much needed attention to a great operating system.
