Twisted Treeline has been a major emotional support for me during my last five years. I have played continuously with two of my best friends, and I always feel supported in way I never have on Summoners Rift. Less variables, greater team communication, and unique map details and effects make Twisted Treeline a much more casually approachable map-type.

The largest reason Riot has chosen to shut down Twisted Treeline is that it doesn't have a large player base despite their changes to it, which is strange considering it hasn't been changed in a very very long time. I think that if they put some more time and effort into balancing and adding new interesting things, that Twisted Treeline would become a popular game type.
