Right To Know ✅️Parents Denied Alleged Deceased Son's DNA & Medical Records

Right To Know ✅️Parents Denied Alleged Deceased Son's DNA & Medical Records
The Issue
The Issue: A family's desperate search for answers, truth, and closure has been met with heartbreaking silence and countless denials. We're still shocked by the news of my brother Jlloyd's alleged death in a car explosion, and our pleas for transparency have been repeatedly denied.
Background: Jlloyd was starting a new life with his wife, Helia – full of hope and promise. But his ex, listed as UK next of kin, has blocked our family's access to DNA and post-mortem images, despite signing agreements to release them to me, Jlloyd's sister. Years of court battles have left us hurt, still seeking peace of mind and closure.
The Investigation:The coroner's key witness claimed he tried to open Jlloyd's car door before it exploded, stating it seemed someone had crashed and run, as the vehicle appeared empty." Leaving us with even more questions.
The Problem: Current laws allow next of kin to deny families access to medical records and DNA, causing distress, further anguish and uncertainty.
The Solution: The "Right to Know Act" would grant parents, guardians, and families with legitimate relationships access to DNA and medical records of their deceased, terminally ill, or missing loved ones. This would:
- Bring long-awaited closure to grieving families
- Increase transparency in investigations
- Support families seeking answers and justice
Why it matters: Denying access exacerbates our grief, erodes trust in healthcare, and creates financial burdens that could have long-term effects. It's time for change.
