Update on Campaign for Change:
On January 10th, 2026, we reached out to government officials around the globe to highlight gaps in current systems.
We continue to see a lack of transparency and gaps in the system, affecting numerous cases and families. Two cases, including my own, which is currently in court, have raised significant concerns. Another case has prompted a panel of international experts to re-examine evidence used for a criminal conviction.
Barrister Timothy is well-informed and aware of this initiative as we push for truth and necessary changes in the current systems.
As we move forward, we want to share our focal areas for improving protections against exploitation of vulnerable individuals, particularly in sensitive cases involving deceased, terminally ill, or missing loved ones where timely access is crucial. The exploitation of vulnerable individuals is a heinous crime requiring our attention and action.
Our proposed additions to the law aim to strengthen protections and facilitate investigations. Specifically, we propose:
- Expanded access to medical records for family members with legitimate reasons, including cases of missing persons, leveraging the AHRA
- Strengthened data sharing for risk assessment
- Streamlined info sharing between the UK and international agencies
- Mandatory reporting for suspected exploitation
Each week, we will explore why these points are necessary. Our goal is to protect seek truth and Justice, protect vulnerable individuals, ensure effective investigations, and address cross-border crimes promptly.
