This is our 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Fundraiser here at 790 Thicket Lane.  Our HOA tried to shut us down last year with Marion Bentcroft, the property manager at Memorial Ashford Townhome Association calling our decorations, "Trashy." This year, she has already ripped down all of our flyers on our local mailbox corkboards and has told us that our Toys for Tots fundraiser, which is completely voluntary, is a form of solicitation and we are banned from decorating because our light arrangement is "Disgusting." We actually have the recording of this conversation if anybody is interested in hearing it, you can call or text us at (832) 225-2124 to receive the recording. She has also gone so far as to remove our flyers for this event from our community announcement cork-boards, of which she has not juristiction to do. 

Our fundraiser is an event in which young children can come mail their wishlists to Santa, and if they include an $8.00 "Reindeer Food Fee," will receive a personal letter from Santa, along with a Certificate of being on the nice list in the mail a few days after submitting their letter/wishlist.  The funds go to supporting a good cause via the US Marine's 2023 Toys for Tots fundraiser so underprivledged children can get a gift for Christmas.  It's a fun event for the whole family and the money goes to a good cause.  Please help us continue our fundraiser and get the Memorial Ashford Townhome Association off our backs by signing the petition in support of our event!
