A 17-year-old Muslim boy asked his teacher, Daniel Tracey, a question during class. Daniel Tracey responded by saying "We don't negotiate with terrorists" in front of all of his peers. The high school where this occurred, Ridgefield Memorial High School in NJ, has not taken any action whatsoever and declined to speak to the press. This is an outrage. The last thing this world needs is another prejudiced bigot walking around, feeling like he can get away with anything. To add insult to injury, the school's website says "valuing each and every student" at the top of the homepage. Well then, value this poor young man by firing Mr. Daniel Tracey and sending a written apology to him and his family. It's bad enough that the majority of student bullies don't get reprimanded properly, but now we're letting teachers get away with bullying too? I don't think so. This man has no business teaching young, impressionable minds if he can't watch his mouth. 

This man was also called out by a famous TikTok user. Between her video and my petition, we could possibly set a precedent. Which will cause teachers and school staff across the country to think twice before they talk down to a student. Let's make school a little safer for everyone.
